So, I’ve been trying to strike a balance with my comic lately. Using a new technique for shading lately has added a lot more time to my workload but I love how it looks so there’s no way I could go back on it. A this point I’m trying to figure out where I can simplify the process. Trying this and that to shave off a couple minutes here and there. This is all a learning process for me really. First webcomic… heh, first comic at all really. Trying to learn to be efficient as I go.
I really do appreciate everyone’s understanding during this learning time for me. You all are amazing. I don’t know what I ever did to deserve such amazing readers… *single tear*

This is a very sweet and slightly emotionally packed page! I like how protective Luero is being and how this protective spirit is affecting Tanna. So cuuuttteee! <3 And I'll agree with TehMograinz, we all know how hard you're working to make Ears for Elves an outstanding webcomic. There's reasons why all of us tune in each and every week to follow the story. It's well drawn, well written and has great characters that continue to intrigue us in their story and continue to develop on their own. Naarie, this is only going to continue to grow and get better as time passes. Thank you for all you do.

That Luero sure is a mysterious one….
I think Tanna’s eyes in panel four really make the moment. The slightly lighter shading, and focused pupils relay a sense of shocked/innocent respect and admiration that plays really well with the blushing.
And Rolan… pfft. Just standing there all “I’m not listening in on your conversation. I am a highly respectable and perfectly patient high-elf…” XD

I have to say, I loooooooove how you analyze my pages. When I work I mostly do it off instincts. Go with what ‘feels’ right but not really think about the why…. And then you point it out and I get to really see it. Its pretty awesome.

I’m also new to this comic and have read through all of the archives in about two days when I have found time.
This is an adorable page – the way Luero is being protective, how Tanna is being so shy like and how the high elf is acting like he isn’t listening to their conversation.
