Words words words! It was quite tricky to fit all of these word bubbles on the page, let me tell you. But that’s the affect I wanted. Tanna getting more and more excited. Speaking faster. Beginning to ramble. So…. SO MANY WORD BUBBLES!!

Thanks! I really wanted to show Tanna’s thought process her through her dialogue. I honestly had a lot more written before. It went through major editing before it was ready for the page. (THANKS MAGE!)

Oh dear! I tried to arrange the bubbles so they were as easy to read as possible but… rambling. Tricky.
Drawing the same person twice and having them actually look like themselves is surprisingly difficult! My trick is to assign distinct shapes to each character to work off of. Myari is all circles and round. Round eyes. Round face. Round nose. While Rolan is all angles. Sharp chin. Sharp nose. Sharp eyes. Assigning shapes helps keep consistency for me without too much erasing. X3

Ah! So you’ve noticed! I have dabbled in Quenya and Sindarin but I’m not exactly trying to keep them in their purest form. While my elves have been speaking “elvish” it really is a muddied version of it that has been watered down over the years. Its interesting to work with. I’m very much enjoying my creative freedom here. :3

Wow it has been forever since I have been on. I sure did miss the comic and am glad to say out of all the comics I had to catch up on, this was both the first and favorite. Everything, story telling and artistic talent have improved since I last checked in.
