Really enjoying playing with the shadows here. This new technique of toning is really quite fun…. albeit time consuming. I’m honestly pretty interested in how it’ll translate over to more lighted settings. Guess we’ll see when we get there, eh?

As Harley Quinn once quipped in an episode of Batman: The Animated Series; “Sneak! Sneak! Sneak!” Elves can be positively stealthy and sneaky when they wish to be. I like how the shadows on this page are very dark, yet we still see the overall action; the shadows add menace to the suspense. As always, great facial readibility!

Small rant here. Be warned.
Disclaimer: I am not saying Naarie is bad at art. She’s fantastic, if a bit weirdly shaped.
Firstly, the eyes. The eyes on a human skull, realistically are set in the middle of the face. The reason this doesn’t seem awkward is because hair covers up most of it. From what I’ve seen from you, you’d do well to look up some tips on Deviantart.com. I believe that could really improve the quality.
Now, the shape of the face on Leuro. The only response I have is “Dafuq?”. No offense. Heads are not that long, and I think Leuro would appreciate if you’d give him a jaw capable of biting through Chickken, atleast. The cheekbones relate to the eyes, and are balanced somewhere around the tip of the nose. The mouth is also not too terribly far from the nose like I see it in Leuro’s face.
Now to the chin, the chin is usually rounded, it may seem awkward with Leuro’s horse-face (loljokewhysuchalongface) at first, but when it gets down to a normal size it seems better. Also, when you’re viewing one sid eof his face like in the first panel the other cheekbone doesn’t curve inward that much, but only slightly.
All the while, you should check tips on Deviantart, because I am in no way a great artist.

As to the rest, I believe most of your complaints fall under the area of “artistic license”. Anatomy is never going to line up perfectly when utilizing tools that exaggerate expressions such as larger eyes and the range of mouth size from over-large to super-small. This has expanded a lot in comics and other art, especially since the wide influence of manga style.
However, I have also been feeling that Naarie could improve on overall anatomy, but never commented on it as my own skills made it so no comment I made would be overly useful as I just would have said it sometimes looks awkward. Also, as the comic has progressed, I have seen that the art looks better and better with each page- so she’s improving on her own.
Nothing wrong with constructive criticism, but I personally disagree with most of yours. If I could pinpoint the source of what makes me think some of the drawings look awkward, it would be the limbs more than the faces- but I don’t know how to describe what causes it to look awkward or how to improve it.
Limbs are something I struggle with. Getting arms and legs to bend naturally is tough without a reference. I’ve been thinking about getting a full length mirror for awhile so I can do crazy poses in front of it. Maybe seeing myself will help things get more natural?? X3

Did ya know that Luero is actually the hardest character for me to draw? No joke. His basic facial structure is the one that is the most outside the mathematical perfection of the perfect human face. In an attempt to have different silhouette for each character some things need to get exaggerated and well… EVERYTHING about Luero is a bit exaggerated.
I’m still striving to reach that point where everything looks natural in it’s…. cartoonyness? (honestly not sure how to describe my own style). But I’ll try be more aware of it now. Especially with Lu.
