Uh-Oh! Priestess Nuonna seems a liiil’ hesitant there! What’s going on around here? Also I love the look of confusion and consternation between Tanna and Rolan here. These kids are seeing more than they bargained for when sneaking into the Temple. So who is this mystery Elf who’s bleeding out right in front of our helpless heroes? And what’s up with Priestess Nuonna, hmmm? I guess we’ll hang in here and find out.
The expressions were the key on this page. With no dialogue from neither Tanna nor Rolan it was quite a task to convey the emotions I so desired.
But so far from all of your reactions I feel as though I’ve pulled it off!
Not my fault when you don’t send it to me until 5am.

Ohhhhhh suspense! Page looks amazing as always Naarie! I can’t help but love the expressions on each and every page, they’re just too amazing!
Very intrigued to see how they can possibly get out of this one, that of course saying that they will!
Also new character… Wonder if we’ll be seeing more of her… Hopefully not too much if she’s only a healer! :O
And the forums have most definitely been fun!
Only a healer?? I’ll have you know that healers are essential to parties of heroes! Who else are you going to put all the blame on when you fail?
The tank?
It’s never the tank’s fault unless they can’t hold agro.
I wounder (of course i am peranoid). but does it seem like the pretiess or would that duridiess sceams to be hesataing on healing the kid? Who knows maybe she is in on what happoned to the kid.
Tanna looks like she is in shock, Rolan on the other hand does not, more like he thinks someting is up, and where is he in the last panel?
Where is Homes when he is needed or even Ba..well i dont need to name him.
Things are slowly being revealed in time but I have to say I am very much enjoying all this speculation. :3
Of course, it was the druid, in the forest, with a dagger!
Maybe it was a Hagraven in the tower with Nettlebane? (Skyrim, FTW.)

And as always, great job on the expressions.
You can really feel what a shock this is to Tanna. She’s probably never witnessed anything this serious before- first time seeing someone seriously injured can be very frightening.
And, now that darkelf mentions it… Rolan’s expression does seem to carry a hint of exasperation… almost like he may already know something about what’s going on? At the very least, he seems to be more worried about being discovered than about the bleeding elf. Amazing how much a skilled artist can portray with nothing more than some facial expressions!

I try my best to work with what I have. And when I have no words available to me I have to reeeally rely on expressions to convey the thoughts and emotions. Its what I tend to spend the most time on!

Why does everyone suspect the new characters so much? First it’s Rolan, and now the Preistess. It’s like you’ve all been jaded by stuff like Korra, where it’s very apparent that there’s a bad guy and you’re supposed to suspect everyone.
No mage, In my case it was my DM’s that made me paranoid…All DM’s ARE EVILLLL EVVILLL i say. Not to say my dice sometimes hate me.
So I look ahscance at new characters…any way if they look suspesice then well I put a close look on them… But I am paranoid.. did I say that already.
Sigh… it’s DMs like that that really mess things up for Storyteller DMs like me. I have a PC that’s like that too, his previous experience with DMs has made it so that I have to earn his trust with every character that I introduce… Quite annoying really when I try to give the group a guide or ally.
well i suppose so, and we PCs make it hard on DMs what with luitic hobbits er..halflings, grazy Gomes,Raveing Elves and mad Humans.. as well.
It says something that Tan a is worried for the injured elf, and Rolan the Derpy is more concerned with being caught, apparently. Great character moment Naarie!
