And we’re back! Black out day is through. From what I’ve read it looks like it has made a bit of difference (already a couple senators have pulled their support from the bill) but we’ve still got a long way to go. The bills may be pulled for now but the word is they’re just being reworked before being reintroduced to the Senate and House. We need to keep ever vigilant to keep the internet free. And that includes our international readers as well. Many other countries closely follow the USA’s cues so if we try to pull something over here who knows what’ll happen everywhere else. #Self-ImportantAmerican

On to the comic! Poor Elon, he’s so used to being in the shadows he doesn’t even bat an eye at not being noticed. Such is life for someone who gets paired up with a person like Myari since birth. She does tend to uh… take over scenes, doesn’t she?
And YES, in panel 3 there are three Tannas pampering a relaxing Luero with fanning, foot massages and grapes. That may be a bit of an exaggeration of a Junior Recruit’s duties but that’s just how Luero’s mind works. Enjoy your peek into his head but I wouldn’t recommend staying long.

I agree with “an alien” One of the reasons why this comic is so popular is that you take your time out of your day to respond back to your fans. Also it has it charms for being a kick ass comic.

Wow, another request for forums. I’m not sure what to do about this. I have forums in the works, but I’m having issues with the customization of phpBB. I’ll try and bump up my timeframe for getting it done.
Well it’s not that important, just do it when you have enough time to do it properly.
It’s actually pretty hard to start a forum if there are not enough people to keep the conversations up (people don’t want to register if there is nobody to talk to), so you’ll might want to wait until you’re certain that there are enough people willing to _register_ and talk.

I would imagine that there would be greater opportunity for promotion during a war, but when’s the last time there was anything remotely like that?

dodgy? I assume, then, that you’ve not personally served in/with any military. Granted, I can’t actually speak for those outside the US but every service in the states is like that
The one advantage to being on the bottom is somebody else is responsible for whatever you were/weren’t told to do at any given moment.
Again, I forget that so many people are from outside the US. Is the military that different than ours in other countries? I thought that this was the way all military systems worked?

Heh, yeah. He’s always been pretty young but I guess the stress ages him a bit.
I think it was just his role. He reminded me of the children’s shows where you have some rapscallion kid that’s always running off to do something crazy, and then you have some old matron that’s chasing after him but is all inept and can’t stop the little tyke. (The only example I can think of though is Mrs. Beakley.) Those adults were always old, or at least they seemed old when I was a kid. And that’s the archetype that developed in my mind.
So it seems odd for Elon to suddenly possess some naivety that places him at an age that is… actually younger than myself.
Ahhh, okay, I get it. Well, Elon is a character who has had to grow up quickly because of his responsibilities *coughmyaricough* so I can totally get where you’d get that idea from.
