Whaaa?!!! That’s the intro that got me into Anime! I would get home right at 4pm after school and watch it every day! The first few seasons were Epic! How could you not have seen the English intro? That cheesy 90s rock? So over the top, So awesome!

Actually… It’s probably because I am a writer an GM and no matter what I do bad things happen to my characters…

I think that’s more your PCs than the story. I find that if the PC is acting up and being stupid, the game isn’t as fun and bad things happen. Then again, I tend to improve scenarios more than stick to a set script, makes things easier.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with bad things happening to characters. There really is no story without conflict. But there’s a big difference between having your character overcome struggles and torturing your characters to no end.
I believe you have to give your characters a break every once in a while. Let them experience some happiness so it feels like they’re working towards something, like they have a chance at a happy ending, or why would they go on? Even if it’s just a lighthearted moment, a touch of romance, a run-in with a trickster character; just let there be a moment of rest for the characters. Even in Lord of the Rings Aragon and co. had a celebratory ale after a hard fought battle!
THIS is why I had to stop reading The Sword of Truth series… *grumblemumble*
Yeah, there are some tough times ahead for Tanna and her family. But we want her to have a normal life and good times so the only thing she can look back on as bad is all of the Teenage wankst.
True, my PC’s sort of make their own beds, but my trilogy is based off a D&D game we ran and my main character was just tormented for no reason. Lol. I do give her a happy ending though. No Frodo endings.
Frodo had a happy ending, he ended up going to the undying lands with all of the elves… which is a metaphor for heaven and I now realize that this argument has been rendered moot.

I had an old Game Boy Color. That was fun times playing Poke’mon Red. But then I tried my Brothers DS. I was not impressed. Even with the Poke’mon games and other games he had. Nothing could beat the past. And I don’t have the free time to carry around a little handheld much let alone to play with it. I guess I like big screens and big games. I’ll stick with my PS3.

The Gamecube and then the Wii was a step back in graphics. Know I did have a N64. So I am not a Nintendo hater. My friends and brothers spend half of our life’s playing on that system. But it had it’s lifespan. when the next big and Awesome thing came out. The PS2 took over our life’s. Giving us options beyond options of games to play. Giving us On-line. Then the PS3 came out giving us even better awesome games. I want my games to look good. I want them to look like they came from the future. I don’t want to own a system when the game graphics are as powerful as a PS2 and an X-box. When the Next Gen is already out. Granted I am upset I can no longer play Mario (It would be the only game I would play) I just have more options for my PS3.

Computers > console and etc , why Skyrim is the answer , the devs of skyrim said that in the PC , the version of the game would much better because in the pc you can put and savage parts and make a great machine for like 3 years, well this is my opinion xD

I used to be all about PC gaming, then I started paying for things on my own… Once the upgrades and everything are coming from your own pocket it’s a bit difficult to justify spending that much on hardware every 7 months over paying a one time cost for the newest console and it being good enough.
That and I’m restricted to using Laptops right now and can’t have a desktop in my apartment.
