New Chapter= A pretty good time for a scene change, don’t ya think?? Soooo glad to finally be out in the day light!
First time drawing a fight scene in the comic. A little tricky but fun overall. Pretty happy with how it turned out!

He’s been pretty busy! All I did was the AMAZING HEADER ZOMGWTFBBQ! Gods, that took me forever. (fun fact- the reason why the page was late today is because I spent all weekend on the header! Wheeee!!)

That, my extraterestrial friend is an elven war bow. it even has what looks like metal plates above and below the grip. And unless that is a magical sword, even a non- combat bow can take a few hits before becoming dangerous to use as anything more than a club.

The new site looks awesome! I’ll have to have a look around soon. As for the page itself: the first pose looks a liiiittle awkward,as does the fact that she’s wearing sandals while sparring. That, my friend, is dangerous! Besides that, it looks great!
Wearing sandals while fighting is what killed achilles.
Also, i LOVE the comic. ummm……… I can’t think of any good criticism…….. Soooo, i don’t think the elf with the bow thought this fight through.

The sandals were actually Archmages design. They aren’t classic sandals since they don’t have smooth bottoms; they’re actually “spiky” (think cleats). I just wasn’t able to properly show that yet. My bad.

Ellos, new reader here. Great comic! I love the art. It kinda reminds me of Drowtales, but without the color.
Also, on the note of web design, I’m experienced in the field (moreso with tech, but don’t ask me how to work a TV beyond pressing the power button). I love to write, even moreso daydream or roleplay (Elves are my favorite race too… No wait, that would be the Lupon race… or was it the Syifts?)
But I will tell you this: Keep going, and finish this story, and not by how people that read this comic want it, but how YOU, the author, want it.

If they want floating limbs and to have them bend every which way that is their right. I am merely keeping you aware of their fantastical qualities.

Considering so many, many thoroughly confusing action-y scenes I’ve seen in the various comics to which I have given my soul – you have done quite well friend. Quite well indeed.
Also I am a HUGE fan of the fact that armor is actually armor. ^__^

I’m glad you noticed the armor! I actually did quite a lot of research into various types of armor while I was making the design. It’s still a bit fantastical but I wanted it to at least sort of make sense. Especially on the females. Armor is there to protect your vitals not accentuate your jiggly bits!! NO bikini mail here!
Aw… but bikini mail is cliche because of the jiggly bits… practicality has no place in fantasy. I mean just look at Persona 3, that had battle panties.

The great and powerful fonz! Im up at 1 in the morning, spent the night looking through webcomics. Yours is the one im going to continuosly check. Its really great to see a webcomic whose creators bother to chat with the peanut gallery. Its 1 in the morning, so could i have the update now? Because its technically wednesday! Well…never mind. Nice title header you got at the top of the page. I see that you are acknowledging the liking that the readers have taken to Kanryl.
From the 2 pages that Kanryl is on, I’m really surprised that people have latched onto the character so much. Not to say that it’s a bad thing, just surprising because the lack of screen time.
Edit: I think I hurt myself not trying to say he or she in that sentence.
