Sooooo enjoying the shoujo-y goodness. Just drawing it is giving me butterflies.
Jeez, sometimes I’m such a girl. XD
oooo that’s interesting loving this
Thank you!! I’m having a lot of fun with this scene.
Last two panels:
“Oh my goodness, we suddenly have EYES!”
No wonder they look so shocked! :O
What kind of witchcraft is at play here?!
As my good friend sometimes says dramatically…
I usually just go with the catch all of “MAGIC”.
Or sometimes with a question mark if I want to remain mysterious….
There was this reallly funny time when I had these mittens where you could pull the mitten part away and you would have fingerless gloves, and I showed it to my friend and all of a sudeen she went “SORCERY!!!! :O”
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Those sound neat! …Trying to wrap my brain around how that would work….
Here ya go. Hope it helps! http://youtu.be/WslRlR4RYA4
It’s really hard to switch from no-eyes mode to eyes mode for me. xD
Sorry! It was a stylistic choice for me this time but don’t worry it wont be popping up again for awhile. XP
That page is really impressive. Now, I can’t wait to see the next one…
Wow, thank you so much!
Hello! I saw a link to your comic from another comic, Red String and the title captured my interest. I started reading and am now hooked! I love all the characters presented thus far, especially Tanna. I will certainly be back for more!
Thank you, thank you! Glad my ad on Red String worked; I thought that would be a good fit.
I’m really happy to hear (read?) that you like Tanna! Being the main character I really wanted her to have an appeal to the audience. So, YAY!
Shoujo-y? Where’s the pink background and sparkly bubbles made of light?
Note to self-
Next time don’t hold back on the sparkly light bubbles. You can never have enough sparkly light bubbles.
Oh, wait, there they are. I should probably adjust my monitor settings.
I tend to keep my computer at weird light settings so I really need to remember to darken some of my tones. XP
Ooh, is this like ElfQuest “Recognition”?
Never read that, I’m not really sure what you mean? In what way is it like ElfQuest?
I never got very far into Elf Quest, mostly because I was borrowing the issues from a friend, but from what I remember, have you ever heard the theory that to know something’s true name is to have power over it? In Elf Quest, the elves have a name by which they go publicly, then another name that only their family and close friends know. The leader of a pack of elves that rides with wolves meets the princess of an elven village and she immediately knows his real name whithout being told it, which means they’ve been chosen to marry. I could be wrong, but I think that’s what E is referring to.
Wow I found this comic from an ad as well I think from YAFGC but honestly I read a lot of comics so it could have been any of them. Any who, I would just like to say great job so far. Also I am not sure if I am more interested in the comic or your comments yet so far but overall they are both very interesting! I reccomend you keep up the forum thing as you go.
Whatever we’re doing that you like, we’ll keep it up.
Thanks for checking us out! We did just start advertising on YAFGC so it would make sense that you could have wandered over from there.
I AM PLEASED AND CONFUSED THAT OUR ENTIRELY SANE AND THOROUGHLY MUNDANE COMMENTS SECTION HAS ENTERTAINED YOU ALTHOUGH I AM UNSURE WHY IT IS AMUSING.
WE ARE PERFECTLY NORMAL HERE.
I think it was Tides of Tiranog that brought me here.
I came here from Gunnerkrigg Court, which my uncle introduced me to.
I have a cool uncle…
