I think I’ve successfully mapped all major and minor characters so far.
BUT! Some explanation on that forest encounter is needed really soon, otherwise it might be discarded as a “pointless scene” by the readers.
On a brighter note, the characters looks really good on this panel. Well done!
Also, got to love Zalanna’s so-weird-that-it’s-funny humor.
It just really feels out-of-character for her. I suppose that since she’s been in less than a dozen pages it should really just be that I misinterpreted her character, but still.
She spent four pages talking about society, three of which were focused on responsibility. Then she shows up with what Tanna didn’t think to bring. She seems to be competent and regal. But then drawing attention to a joke like that makes her seem… socially challenged.
I suppose she could have her head in one game and be missing it in another, but it just threw me off, because it wasn’t what I thought she was.
Socially challenged is a pretty accurate description. She’s been taught from a young age about all the high society and how to preform in a way worthy of her position. But, because of this, she struggles with her peers. She has a hard time relating and understanding. She truly wants to fit in… as long as her attempts don’t tarnish her image (notice that when she pointed out the joke the other ladies were too busy with their own conversation to pay much attention to the ‘children’). She’s currently struggling with behaving properly and gaining the companionship she desires.
Hopefully this’ll come out more in the comic as I go. Work in progress I suppose.
Um i think you meant to have Zalanna say “clever of me” and not “cleaver.”
Clever is of course smart or witty, and cleaver is a big meat knife. Just saying!

Wow! That’s pretty awesome that you went to all the effort of mapping out my characters! XD Is there anyway I could see it?? I’m curious…
As far as the forest encounter…. all in due time, my friend… all in due time.
I’m having a lot of fun with Zalanna. She’s just so not self-aware it’s super fun to write her. XD
Oh, I’m sorry. I meant that they’re mapped in my head. Eheh
Haha wow, some people just shouldn’t try and tell jokes.
I guess you could say…
*takes off sunglasses*
The jokes on them.

Marscaleb likes this.
*takes a bow*
So, um, did Zalanna just suddenly get replaced?
By like, Data or something?
Na, I think she’s just reeeeeeeeeeeeally happy she made a funny.
