I actually had to hold myself back a little when drawing this one. A few of the panels originally had full backgrounds but the end result just looked so insanely busy! @_@ Had to go back and erase A LOT. That sucked. Now, I’m worried it looks too blank… Hopefully I’ll find the balance someday!!
Also had a little trouble with the dialogue in this one. Still feels a little wonky. Might go back and fix it later. Be on the lookout for a future edit!!

How much of this is produced on paper and how much in a program?
@Marscaleb
First I draw everything out in detail on paper. Then I scan it into Manga Studio Debut 4. There I panel, ink, and add tone and word bubbles. Then I send it over to Photoshop for type setting, re-sizing and final touches.
do you still have the full backround one saved i’d love to see it if you could post it on photobucket or something/
@Mykle
Sorry, doesn’t look like I saved at that point. I have folders for the art in different stages (sketch, ink, tone, finish) This happened during the toning stage so I just erased the bg and moved on…. perhaps in the future I should save a separate file for a major edit like that… hmmm…
You might want to consider using Photoshop’s layering for your backgrounds.
@BeetlesBane
I’m actually not too familiar with Photoshop. That’s why I do the majority of my work on another program (really I’m a traditional artist at heart so using computers for art is pretty new to me). Is there anything I should try to do be doing? Anything that’s not coming across quite right?? I can always attempt to pull it off in MangaStudio… XD
I liked the flowers/stars in the fifth panel. They really help emphasize Myrari’s happy-go-lucky personality.
It’s like she’s perpetually followed by flowers and happiness.
Don’t forget rainbows and glitter
HOW COULD I FORGET?! *writes that in*
Oh, and the bishi bubbles
Changed mah name! Now it matches mah Youtube account!!! Don’t know why I’m talking like this!! All ta be silly I s’pose
